The back of the watch has a few small scratches that are only noticeable up close. These are typical signs of light, regular use. There are some white spots on the strap, which appear to be mold-related. The strap would benefit from thorough cleaning or replacement, depending on preference. With the DNA of the Seiko 6xxx diver watches, the SKX009 retain the tool watch designation of the Vietnam era. There is no difference you can detect with naked eye; however, it’s a subtle change in the case shape and index dimensions thatstrikes the difference. The 7S26 automatic movement is decent and reliable and has powered some significant Seiko Divers. An amazing mechanical stuff out here!
